The Map of Elsewhere
Appears in The Map of Elsewhere
A children's book with no countries on it—only rooms to enter, a theater in a forest, and copies that travel between strangers who never meet.
A water-damaged children's book carried by Corinne Applewhite, read in the
Meridian balcony during Duluth blizzards, returned to a Missoula library after
nine years missing, and found in Ferris Noon's projection room with a name
written inside that no one can explain. In the archive, it marks the difference
between almost arriving and arriving incorrectly.
